Centralized admission procedure is carried out by Commissioner/Competent Authority, Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET), Government of Maharashtra for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture degree programme as per rules and regulations framed by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education & Research, Pune.
80 percent seats from sanctioned intake capacity are filled by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education & Research, Pune strictly on merit basis under Maharashtra quota (30 percent) and University quota (70 percent).
20 percent seats from sanctioned intake capacity are allocated to college as a Institutional quota. These admissions are done by the Principal of the college by calling applications from eligible candidates in prescribed format.
A candidate should be Indian and have passed 12th std or its equivalent examination from Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra in PCB or PCM group with minimum 50% marks for open and 40% marks for reserved categories. A candidate offering Botany and Zoology instead of Biology is also eligible for admission. Beside this a candidate must have passed eligibility tests such as MHT-CET/ JEE/NEET/ AIEEA-UG.
Admission will be determined by considering 70% of total marks obtained in PCB / PCM group and 30% of total marks obtained in the eligibility examination / 12th (Science) examination and the other weightages.
